Rich Bucher: As of the moment, all signs point to this scenario: LBJ (Cle), Wade + Bosh(Mia), Boozer(Chi), Amare(NY).  Not that that's startling news

Just like I said, Bulls are fucked if they don't get LBJ.

Boozer's a good player but anything less than at least one of the top 3 is a huge disappointment for the Bulls.

Well you can always add the big Aristotle  foclaugh

That would sound about right.

But only if they bring back Brad Miller too, so they can finally settle that fight were Shaq would have DESTROYED him.  foclaugh
No, sir, I have no experience but I'm a big fan of money.  I like it, I use it, I have a little.  I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I'd like to put more in that jar. That's where you come in.

Had Boozer not fucked the CAVS a few years ago... they could have won a championship by now...

Report: Cavs have trade for Bosh in place

Chris Broussard of ESPN is reporting that the Raptors have agreed to a sign-and-trade of Chris Bosh if Bosh agrees to such a deal.

Whoa boy.

So right off the bat, there are conflicting reports . Secondly, again, Bosh has not agreed to such a deal, and Broussard reports that he is cold to the idea of being by the Lake instead prefers Chicago (yes, I know, also by a lake, go with me), New Jersey, or Miami. Miami is out, according to Broussard because they lack the pieces the Raptors would want in a sign-and-trade. Both Chicago and New Jersey have players the Raps would be interested in, but not moreso than what the Cavs have to toss in.

So what's the big deal? Isn't Bosh an unrestricted free agent, able to sign anywhere?

That's true, but the Raptors can let Bosh have his cake and eat it too. He can sign for more money and more years with Toronto, then be sent to where he wants to play, with who he wants to play with.

The tightly held puzzle of free agency is starting to loosen.

If Broussard's on the money, and the Raps can't figure out a deal of high enough value with Chicago or New Jersey, then Bosh will have to decide between the extra money and security, or his own autonomy and a bigger market. It's a tough decision, but consider that once again, LeBron James has the impetus to control the situation here. If LeBron signs with Cleveland outright, he could force Bosh's decision, especially if Wade is still on the fence.

Meanwhile, the report has significant implications for both Miami and Chicago. The time may have come to divert attention from James and to Wade, in an effort to get him off the fence and in their respective uniforms first. With Amar'e in New York, off the market, and Joe Johnson locked up in Atlanta, both Chicago and Miami will have to make significant moves to avoid being left out in the cold if they feel like talks with the Raptors are stagnant. Bosh may be reticent to go to Cleveland but he's now looking at extra money and a direct courtship from LeBron James. That's enough to open some eyes to the beauty of Cleveland.

Things are starting to shake loose. We'll keep you updated on where the next piece falls.

I really don't think Bosh wants to play in Cleveland.  If he did this would have been a done deal by now.

That is correct and that is sad, the state of affairs in sports is totally fucked up right now. I'm not knocking you guys at all as you guys are avid followers about this sport but for most of the people, they could care less where these pampered millionaires get their money from. I hate to say anything bad against players such as Wade, Bosh or James but unless they form a team like Team USA that actually goes out each game and cares about winning every night with referees that aren't biased towards officiating every game I could give a shit!

Oscar, I totally agree with what you are saying.  Most of, if not all people, could care less.  To tell you the truth the only reason I am so involved in this is because the Bulls are such a major player.  If they weren't a big factor, I probably wouldn't even be paying attention.  But since they are, I'm pumped for it.  If they end up with some of the best players in the NBA on their team again, they can get me excited about Chicago basketball again.  Which, to be honest, I haven't been since Jordan left.

cheers88

On the plus side, its started a good conversation here.   beer2

Although, with all the views and repies, only like 15 votes.   cry1

Wish more people would get involved, its nothing but fun.   beer2

Too be honest, I'm not all that sure I want Wade.

5 years older than Bosh/James, and A LOT A LOT of wear on that body.

Plus I don't think he would play all that well with Rose.  Wade always wants the ball in his hands.

A league source insists that Bosh has ruled out a sign-and-trade to Cleveland. With the Cavs unlikely to sign-and-trade for Boozer -- whose bridge to Cleveland was torched when the Cavs made him a free agent in 2004 and he responded by signing with Utah -- it appears likely that the Cavs will make no major changes this week around James, other than to pair him with a new coach in Byron Scott. Maybe Scott's impressive résumé is enough to keep James in Cleveland. After all, the Cavs won 127 games the last two seasons, and Scott -- who won three championship rings alongside Magic Johnson -- promises to command more respect from James while installing an up-tempo offense to feature him in the open floor.

Interesting... doesnt' make sense for Bosh to say no....

Bosh can make more money and play with LBJ...   Miami can't trade for him and I doubt the Bulls give up Noah

From the start

The guy I wanted the Bulls to get, and I think Greek said this earlier, is Bosh.  Because he fills their biggest need.

Obviously I, and everyone, wants Lebron.

But since the beginning of the offseaon, I wanted the Bulls to end up with Joe Johnson and Chris Bosh.

I think those two would have fit in exactly with what the Bulls need.  An outside shooter and a big man.  And I would have been happy if that's what they ended up with.  Even if it meant missing out on Lebron.

But once ATL offered Johnson all that money I never it wouldn't happen, he would have been crazy to turn down that offer.

I don't think him saying no to Cleveland has anything to do with a basketball standpoint.  I think its a lifestyle/big city thing.

No offense, but I don't think that many people/players find Cleveland an attractive place to play in.

I'm going to give my two cents as to why I think Lebron ends up in NEW YORK CITY.  Besides for being the greatest city in the United States let alone the world, he will be able to become the BILLIONAIRE he wants to be.  His most recent quote to ESPN about wanting to become the richest man in the world and a billionaire leads me to believe that winning a championship "this season" is not his first priority.  He knows if he goes to the New York Niggerbockers he will be along side Amare in his first year.  Amare and the Knicks would provide Lebron with just as much as he had down in Cleveland.  Now I think Lebron has the patience to wait one year knowing that the Knicks will have the money to bring in ANOTHER max contract come 2011.  Lebron Amare .... (tony parker, melo, or maybe even the kevin "tarantula" durant)

That is my opinion on the situation.  As a New Yorker I am bias as to him coming here but for two years when the Knicks began clearing cap space it was evident that they wanted Lebron in 2010.

May the best city win this one as this free agency will change the NBA for years to come

Hello Lebron as the empire state building will soon be lit up in lights of lebron... no other city can offer him that!!!

I'm sure someone will figure something out.  Since he can only get that sixth year from the Raptors and sign and trade.

Whoever end up with Bosh, will probably just have to find a 3rd team to deal along with in the trade.
No, sir, I have no experience but I'm a big fan of money.  I like it, I use it, I have a little.  I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I'd like to put more in that jar. That's where you come in.

Re: WHERE DO YOU THINK KING JAMES WILL END UP?

I disagree, Chicago is the best city in the world!!  foclaugh foclaugh beer2 beer2

I understand your thinking as well.  But I don't agree when you say he has a better chance in New York (even with Amare).

I think if he were to stay in Cleveland, he would still have a better team and shot at winning, than going to New York.

Not to mention, Lebron is going to make his money where ever he goes.

And its not like New York, or anywhere else for that matter, can promise him a billion dollars over night.  Its still going to take him some time to accumulate his wealth where ever he goes.

And if he wasn't in pursuit of an NBA ring, then why even play the game in the first place??? foclaugh

He could quit now, start a "King James" brand ala "Jordan brand", and make his money that way.  beer2
